Business Development- Fresh Foods

The Business Development- Fresh Foods position is responsible for coordinated sales and merchandising functions to support the growth and retailer performance in the fresh category which includes natural and organic meats, dairy, deli, prepared foods and more, for targeted accounts. This position is responsible for communication to internal business partners of account changes that would impact inventory planning and management. TBusiness Development- Fresh Foods position will sell the Four Seasons fresh programs to targeted retailers and will conduct retailer meetings and presentations to drive the sales penetration of the category.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Location: Ephrata, PA (onsite)

What you get to do as a Business Development- Fresh Foods

• Serve as key point of contact for targeted retailers for all fresh categories.
• Responsible for developing new fresh program sales and existing sales growth for targeted accounts.
• Present fresh program opportunities to retail partners by sharing product differentiation, attributes and "fit" and industry and product information pointing out gaps or opportunities in the current product array.
• Build and maintain open communication with store ownership and store leaders and partner with other Four Seasons associates for aligned service to target customers.
• Ability to sell new products, categories, concepts, and merchandising ideas to accounts.
• Provide communication with Fresh Category team, Sales Managers and Four Seasons Leader Team as well as other stakeholders in serving customers.
• Coordination of industry and category education for retail partners
• Collaborate with buying, pricing, and sales teams to drive new sales and increase sales to current and newly acquired customers as well as customer service and execution.
• Represent Four Seasons Produce, Inc. and the Four Seasons Family of Companies in a positive and professional manner.

What you bring

• Minimum of 4 years of sales experience, preferably in natural\organic fresh foods., or equivalent.
• Fresh foods retail or wholesale distribution experience a plus.
• Capable analytical and presentation skills.
• Solid computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make sound decisions.
