As part of the Four Seasons Produce sales team, the Customer Service Specialist handles customer calls, performs sales entry and follow-up to our customers; including Produce Managers and Buyers at Independent Supermarkets, Co-ops, Natural Food Stores and Organic Markets that we supply.

Position Summary:
As part of the Four Seasons Produce sales team, the Customer Service Specialist handles customer calls, performs sales entry and follow-up to our customers; including Produce Managers and Buyers at Independent Supermarkets, Co-ops, Natural Food Stores and Organic Markets that we supply.
Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Perform sales entry of produce orders via phone, email, fax, online ordering, EDI from individual independent retailer accounts, that are part of a group managed by the Pricing & Ads Analysts or Sales Representative
- Perform sales entry for buyers from other store departments (Floral/Meat/Dairy/Fresh/Salad Bar departments)
- Answer inbound customer calls from a variety of accounts during heavy call volume periods
- Computer data entry into customer portals
- Follow-up on customer requirements that need to be managed through other departments
- Ad-hoc sales support activities, as needed, to help the department
- Other administrative / customer service duties, as assigned
Required Education, Training, or Certification(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English - Required
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable talking to a variety of people on the phone
- Desire to help and serve others
- Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions with minimal assistance
- College degree in related business and/or sales discipline preferred
- Previous business to business customer service and/or produce department experience preferred
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Work a variety of hours (days, evenings, nights, weekends) up to 10 hours per day, 5 days per week primarily in a professional office environment
- Occasionally, work in a refrigerated environment with variable temperatures and exposure to dust, dirt, noise, material handling equipment, moving conveyors, and/or packaging machines
- While performing the essential functions of this position, must regularly see, speak, and hear; frequently stand; walk; occasionally kneel and stoop; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
