WH Process Auditor/Utility

Position Summary

The Process Auditor is responsible for auditing warehouse operational processes to ensure accuracy and process compliance. Auditors will also perform warehouse utility functions as time allows.

The hours for this role are Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Process auditor responsibilities
  • Review and audit all operational processes in the warehouse that include breakdown, receiving, running from the dock, put away, replenishment, high lift picking, RF picking, voice selection, and loading.
  • Document all discrepancies found.
  • Ensure all pallets are properly built minimizing risk for damage in transit
  • Communicate with warehouse leads/managers on all discrepancies found so they can be fixed in a timely manner.

Operations utility responsibilities
  • Safely, accurately, and efficiently perform job function determined by work assignment that may include one of the following: selecting orders, loading trucks, counting inventory, room management, chase picking (outs), general dock work (receiving, put away, restacking, lumping)
  • Understand basic produce storage and handling requirements (produce science)
  • Complete required paperwork for each job assignment in a timely manner
  • Operate equipment safely, follow safe work practices, maintain a safe work area, and adhere to food safety policies

Required Education, Training, or Certification(s)
  • High School Diploma or equivalency

Required Experience and Skills
  • Minimum 1 years of warehouse experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Correctly identify product we sell
  • Must be a minimum of 18 yrs of age or older

Work Environment/Physical Demands
  • Work primarily in a refrigerated environment with variable temperatures and exposure to dust, dirt, noise, material handling equipment, moving conveyors, and/or packaging machines
  • While performing the essential functions of this position, must regularly see, speak, and hear; frequently walk; stand, kneel, crouch, stoop, and reach overhead; regularly lift and carry up to 65 lbs.; regularly operate powered industrial vehicles; and occasionally use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
