Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage transportation applications to track operational workflows and record all business transactions.
- Ensure timely departure of all planned routes during your shift.
- Provide operational solutions to prevent service failures and guarantee on-time delivery.
- Assist in developing driver communication, mentoring, and resolving issues.
- Provide technical support for driver & truck technology.
- Act as backup for administrative staff while supporting various shifts during PTO.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT document retention standards.
- Offer phone support to drivers, customers, and the routing team.
- Assist with department projects and perform a variety of administrative tasks that support transportation operations.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Training and mentoring experience with CDL drivers.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local transportation regulations (DOT/FMCSA).
- Prior experience in a transportation-related role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn transportation management software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional customer service.
