Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator supports Four Seasons Produce customers by managing day-to-day orders, building and maintaining relationships and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales and profit goals for assigned independent retail & natural food store accounts. This entry level sales position combines accurate data entry, proactive problem-solving, and service-focused communication to ensure an exceptional customer experience and sustained business growth.

What you get to do as the Sales Coordinator

• Perform sales order entry via phone, email, fax, online ordering and EDI from individual independent retailer accounts.
• Resolves customer challenges by promptly identifying and investigating issues, coordinating with internal team members to provide a resolution.
• Provide customer coverage for other sales representatives during paid time off and business travel.
• Consult with customers to understand business goals and needs to make relevant sales recommendations.
• Collaborate with sales leadership, merchandising and buying team to achieve budgeted sales and profit goals.
• Collaborate with the sales team and all departments of Four Seasons Produce, Inc. to provide excellent customer service.
• Represent Four Seasons Produce, Inc. and the Four Seasons Family of Companies in a positive and professional manner.
• Ad-hoc sales activities, as needed, to help the department.
• Effectively follow through with new accounts and potential opportunities identified through marketing efforts.
• As part of the sales team, set a consistent example in leadership, communication, and integrity.

What you bring

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent or bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a desire to help others
• Must be highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities
• Pricing aptitude and working knowledge of business math
• Broad based computer skills (including Microsoft Office and ERP systems)
• Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
• 2+ years' experience in the produce industry with relevant experience in either wholesale, retail, food service, or organic setting preferred
• 1 or more years' experience in sales or marketing preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
