Inventory Control Associate

This position is responsible for the accuracy of inventory in the packing and warehouse operations, with emphasis on safety, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nights 9:00 pm - 7:00 am

What you get to do

• Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory to confirm location, product code, lot, date code, and quantity accuracy in all warehouse facilities. Complete required inventory adjustments and ensure they are done correctly
• Investigate and reconcile inventory variances. This includes shipping errors, receiving errors, identified location errors, work orders, and the balance of the ERP and WMS systems. Identify root causes and support efforts to improve accuracy
• Maintain location labels and pallet tags that do not scan
• Maintain the inventory missing location
• Manage inventory slotting for products to ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation requirements are met

What you bring

• Work independently under broad supervision and follow safe work practices, maintain a safe work area, and adhere to food safety policies
• Ability to prepare and communicate results to peers and leadership
• Ability to analyze, communicate, and solve issues
• Capable of multi-tasking and assuming a range of responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• 3 years' experience in inventory management
• Strong computer skills (MS Office software and able to learn other applications)
